In an effort to increase public awareness of electric and water safety, conservation and pollution, Peru Utilities sponsors a yearly art contest. The artists are the elementary students throughout Miami County. Many of the pictures we have received in the past are of different utility safety issues and of the company mascot, “Smokey the Cat”.
